Meet Abbie

My work is about chasing the energy of live music, fleeting glances, and the beauty woven into everyday chaos. I believe photography is equal parts memory and magic, and my mission is to freeze those moments in raw, wild, and authentic artistry.

Hi, I’m Abigail Klotz and I’m a 20 year old photographer from eastern Pennsylvania. I feel like I’ve had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember, but it wasn’t until about four years ago that I really began to develop my photography. What started as a lifelong love for capturing moments grew into something deeper during my senior year of high school, when I interned at a local venue and discovered my passion for concert photography. That first experience in front of the barricade with live music and a camera in my hand lit a fire in me, and I’ve been chasing that feeling ever since.

For the past three years, I’ve been photographing concerts - working to not just capture the music, but the energy, emotions, and stories that happen on and off stage. My dream is to take that passion on the road and become a tour photographer, documenting the journey as much as the performance.

Outside of photography, I find inspiration in the little things — flipping through vinyl records, thrifting for hidden treasures, getting tattoos, or sketching out ideas when I need a different creative outlet. My playlists range from Fleetwood Mac to Nirvana, with artists like Noah Kahan, Alice in Chains, Suki Waterhouse, and Chris Stapleton always on rotation.

I also draw a lot of inspiration from the photographers that paved the way before me - icons like Neal Preston, Robert Mapplethorpe, Francesca Woodman, and Mark Weiss, as well as my mentor, Rachel Deeb, who continues to inspire me to refine my vision and push my work further.

At the heart of it all, my goal is simple: to create images that feel timeless, raw, and honest… photographs that make you feel like you were there.
